The opportunity

Wharton Tree & Ecology Consultants Ltd is based in Alcester, Warwickshire, with clients across England and Wales. As a result of our continued commitment and increased client base we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work with our Office Manager and to support the team.  The new position is aimed at a self-motivated, individual with good communication skills who wants to both develop their career, provide ideas to the business and implement marketing and office admin activities.

You will be responsible for directly communicating with customers, organising projects, managing workflows, inputting financial data, as well as developing the companies CRM system, deploying marketing campaigns, updating social media and creating other content. Skills required for the position

The successful applicant will:

  • be an excellent communicator, organiser and ability to use initiative.
  • be diligent and accurate in your work, well presented, trustworthy and punctual.
  • be willing to take this opportunity to learn, grow and provide a consistently high level of service, as part of our motivated team.
  • be computer and IT literate with experience in using Microsoft Office products, with good language skills and an understanding of time management.
  • have a good knowledge of social media and its use in business.
  • be familiar with CRM systems and data capture.
  • be confident in providing ideas.

Most importantly, be able to provide solutions to our clients.

Duties of the position

The, applicant will be involved with, but not confined too:

  • speaking with clients and organising projects for each consultant;
  • taking phones calls;
  • managing and updating the companies CRM system;
  • managing the company social media content across various platforms;
  • updating website content;
  • inputting financials into Xero;
  • monitoring and reporting on marketing on Google;
  • working within consultants on fee proposals, invoicing and debt chasing; and
  • development of new clients through specific marketing strategies;

Final salary and package will be based on qualification and experience. This is a position initially based on 37 hours per week or other agreeable working solution.
